From a gearhead’s perspective

Alfa Romeo also had some seriously cool and collectable vehicles in their booth.

But in case you wanted to actually purchase one, the 4C is ready and available. It’s also built on a carbon fiber tub!

Poised to compete with the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG, will the Jaguar XF-R have what it takes to beat the Germans at their own game?

Bugatti has ceased production on the Veyron, but there is no doubt in my mind it will go down in history as one of the most elite vehicles ever built. If I’m completely wrong and they are worthless in 10 years, I’ll be buying this exact color combination. It’s simply stunning.

These photos aren’t great so they don’t do justice to the styling and design of the Aston Martin Vulcan concept, but let me assure you it is a work of automotive art in every sense.

Say hello to Scion’s newest family member, the iM. Poised to be a sporty yet practical 5-door hatchback, the iM looks like it should do well for Scion. I can see some Toyota Matrix design undertones in the iM, but maybe that’s just me?

If you haven’t seen it yet then you’ve probably been living under a rock! Super Street’s Scion Tuner Challenge FR-S seamlessly combines a Rocket Bunny kit and the FR-S TRD package. And of course it also boasts a shaved and tucked engine bay with ITBs, because anything else and it wouldn’t be Super Street.

Subaru had a great collection of past and present STI Performance cars which leads nicely into the following…

If this STI Performance Concept is anywhere near what the next gen BRZ or perhaps BRZ STI will look like, then I’d better start saving my money right now. Subaru announced that there will be a push to further develop and bring more STI based vehicles to North America, which is great news because anything with an STI badge usually means serious fun.

We’re all hoping for a turbo engine in the STI Concept but there was no mention of what was lurking under the hood. Instead, we were left to drool over this GT-300 based turbocharged boxer engine from the SuperGT Subaru BRZ race car.

Nissan dropped the new Maxima on us and I kinda dig the aggressive angular styling and dimensions.

That McLaren is stupid rare! If only they made a few more then people could actually enjoy driving them. There’s no way in hell that car would see a road if I owned it. Can you imagine someone wrecking into you?
