I’m a sucker for fast sedans and Chrysler’s 300C SRT with a bad boy Hemi V8 gets my heart pumping. It also looks fantastic in red with gloss black trim.
This, on the other hand, makes me sad. It’s Toyota’s Mirai, a hydrogen powered vehicle that is incredible in function and design, but the exterior leaves me wondering why Toyota wouldn’t want something a bit more mainstream so that it can attract new buyers into this small but emerging market. Instead, I fear there will be little mainstream support for it since to me it looks like it fell awkwardly from the ugly tree.
The VW Golf Sport Wagon just got a shot of adrenaline and is now ready to conquer the urban jungle. Using VW’s 4Motion all-wheel drive system and a raised ride height paired with some rugged styling, this Golf is a pretty tough looking wagon.
Volvo has been producing some well designed and sleek looking SUVs lately and the new XC90 is their best yet! I can’t help but wonder if it’ll be offered in the matte Blue color or is it exclusive to the auto show display car.
I’ll wrap this post up with one a car that everyone should enjoy. The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 convertible. For those that want to slay tires and smell the burning rubber while doing it, this is the machine for you. Note all the carbon fiber work. It’s a growing trend to see exposed carbon on OEM vehicles and one that I’m confident has trickled down from the racing and performance aftermarket scenes.
That McLaren is stupid rare! If only they made a few more then people could actually enjoy driving them. There’s no way in hell that car would see a road if I owned it. Can you imagine someone wrecking into you?
