The US rebar mounts will interfere with the Euro fog lights and bumper so they need to be trimmed.

Here’s a good look at how far in you’ll want to trim.

The Euro turn signal plugs are different then the US ones plus they don’t have parking lights built into them. So instead of figuring out a new wiring solution, I took the US turn signals and cut the bulb assembly off.

And did the same on the euro turn signals.

With some JB weld I ‘glued’ the US bulb assembly onto the Euro housing effectively solving the wiring problem and keeping the parking lights in place. There’s still another step to this process but I’ll touch on that once the valance is mounted to the chassis.

Notice that I painted the inside of the bumper with some black rust paint since it was showing signs of corrosion. Now is a good time to do any repairs or fixes to the bumper because if you’re anything like me, once I finish a project going back to touch up or fix minor details seems to never happen. Anyways, the first step is to remove the stock euro mounting brackets off the bumper.

Install the GPS brackets, they are marked left and right so don’t mix them up.

Do a quick test fit and see if you have them lined up correctly, if so tighten the nuts down nice and snug.
